How this works

Drills you can tap through anywhere, then one call you have to speak.

A drill“Is that studio at the end insulated, or is it a summer thing?”Gordon · pick your answer
A drill: Gordon's line with the telling question highlighted, and four answers to choose from
A Deal in progress: Priya inside a live voice ring at 2:37, pushing back on the price
The result: Gordon bought it at 437,000, scored 51 out of 100, with the skill ratings underneath
The career ladder: Automotive complete, Real Estate in progress at 1,365 of 5,000, and five locked Arenas above it with their unlock costs
Who you're up against

They don't go easy on you

Buyers are characters, not scenario settings. They come back across stages and later across Arenas, so beating Marek once means something the next time he walks in.

Marek

Wants the car, hates the price

Marek

Found the car online at seven this morning and was on the forecourt by nine.

Dee

One more discount and she'll think about it

Dee

Friendly, relentless, and has never paid list price for anything in her life.

Sofia

Will not say what is actually wrong

Sofia

Polite about everything, enthusiastic about nothing. Something is bothering her.

Gordon

The CFO who has never said yes

Gordon

Signs things. Enjoys not signing things more.

Priya brought a printed comparison table. Ray is already late for a budget meeting. Bex is still just looking.

Before you ask

Questions

Do I actually have to talk out loud?

For the Deals, yes — that's the entire point. The drills in between are tap-only, so you can train anywhere and save the talking for when you're somewhere you can speak.

Can I play it on the train?

The drills, yes. A Deal needs somewhere you can speak normally. It's a conversation, and whispering at a stranger's car does not go well.

Do I need smart glasses or a headset?

No. Sellify uses your phone's own microphone and speaker. There is nothing to pair and nothing to buy.

I've never sold anything. Is this for me?

Yes. You say how much experience you have when you start, and the buyers after your first one adjust to match. Say you're new and they'll go gently.

I sell for a living. Will it be too easy?

Say so at the start and they play brutal. Ask for a hard buyer and the app takes you at your word.

What does it actually measure about me?

Five things, and only where the call gave evidence for them: discovery, listening, pitching, negotiation and closing. A single call evidences two or three, never all five — and a rating from one Deal is labelled an early read until there's enough evidence to firm it up. Whether the buyer told you the real thing is reported as a quoted moment, not a number, because it's binary and a score would fake a precision that isn't there.

What are the Arenas?

Eight selling worlds you work up through — Automotive, Real Estate, Retail, Professional Services, SaaS, Recruitment, Industrial, Government — then Global Deals and one more that isn't explained. You buy into each with the commission you earned selling in the last one.

Can I pay to get better?

No, and that's deliberate. Money buys access to new Arenas and extra Deals. It cannot buy XP, skill ratings, or an easier buyer, and it cannot buy tomorrow's stage.

Is it on Android?

Not yet. iPhone only for now.

The live conversation runs on Extentos, which is why a Deal works over your phone's own microphone and speaker, with nothing to pair.
